The Union Home Ministry has advised the states regarding the relaxations being given amid the decreasing cases of Coronavirus. States have been advised to relax restrictions in a systematic manner.
The Union Home Ministry has asked the states to carefully implement the process of easing the restrictions of Covid-19 in a systematic manner. The Ministry of Home Affairs has said, for the management of Kovid-19, the focus should be on a five-point strategy of Test, Tracing, Treatment, Vaccination and Corona Protocol.
Monitoring of beds in hospitals
The Ministry of Home Affairs has told the states that considering the districts as administrative units, the rate of infection cases and the status of beds in hospitals should be regularly monitored. If there is an indication of an increase in the rate of infection and the number of patients on beds, then action should be taken to create a containment zone.
Where Active Cases Need More Caution
Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla advised all state governments and union territory administrations on COVID-19 management for the month of July. It said that states should regularly monitor those districts where the number of active cases of coronavirus per 10 lakh population is high as to anticipate the need to upgrade health infrastructure and equipment. This is an important indicator for this, so that quick and quick action can be taken.
The Union Home Secretary said that many states have started easing restrictions with the reduction in active cases of corona virus. Bhalla said that the process of easing restrictions should be carefully decided and fast and targeted action should be taken by the states in line with the advisory issued by the Union Health Ministry. “In view of the increasing infection rate of the case and the early signs of increasing the number of beds filled, necessary action should be taken for prevention measures and up-gradation of health infrastructure,” the letter said.
